FIBA has always prided itself on the close public/private partnerships we have with regulatory agencies, law enforcement, and legislators. Yesterday’s event hosted by the Miami office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), was another great example of these partnerships. In attendance were members of our AML Compliance, Legal & Regulatory Affairs, and Education committees.
We listened to highly informative presentations from Supervisory Special Agents Zacharia Baldwin, Michael Brown, and Cherice Douglas. This led to an interactive discussion amongst the participants, a hallmark of FIBA events.
These important issues will be further discussed at our upcoming 25th Annual AML Conference March 24th-27th.
