Greetings!
BACK AFTER COVID!!
You may remember that beginning in 2013, I would periodically publish the “From the Desk of the CEO…”, to inform the membership of some of the key happenings around FIBA including advocacy efforts, conferences and events, and FIBA In The News. Unfortunately, this was put on the back burner due to COVID and the focus on other challenges.
Now that some semblance of normalcy has returned to our lives, I thought that it was time for the publication to also emerge from the darkness, and what better way to begin than with an invitation to a regulatory event! Please see below and stay tuned!!
You are invited to attend The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta’s 2023 Banking Outlook Conference hosted by Supervision, Regulation, and Credit (SRC). The conference will take place on Thursday, February 23, 2023, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (ET) virtually.
The conference brings together bank supervisors and industry participants to examine and discuss challenges confronting the financial services industry. This program is designed to promote open and informal discussions on how economic trends, financial market activities, and the regulatory environment will impact the banking industry in the year ahead. If you are unable to attend and would like to forward this invitation to a colleague, please note that the conference is geared toward C-suite executives at financial institutions, trade associations, and organizations that support these institutions.
The conference agenda is here, and you can register here.
Regards,
David Schwartz
CEO & President
